Q: What are the Etsy Awards?

A: The Etsy Awards celebrate the best of creativity in UK and Ireland. Eligible UK and Ireland Etsy sellers will be recognised for their work across these categories: New Etsy Talent, Retail Star, Home & Living, Fashion & Accessories, Kids & Baby and 5 regional awards (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland). Find out more here. Contenders for the People’s Choice award will be selected from the 60 finalists across the other award categories. The winner will be decided by public vote.

Q: Who can enter the Etsy Awards?
A: The Awards are open to Etsy sellers with active Etsy shops based in the UK or Ireland. Please see Eligibility Criteria for each award category for more detail and find out more here.

Q: I don’t have an Etsy shop, can I still apply?
A: You need an active Etsy shop to be eligible to apply. Just go here and enter the code ETSYAWARDSUKIRELAND to open your new shop and redeem 20 free listings. Remember, your application will be assessed on the quality and presentation of your Etsy shop. Don’t forget to add your About page, so we can find out all about you and your work. Check out tips and tricks for getting your shop started in our Seller Handbook.

Q: Can I enter in more than one category?
A: When you complete the submission form, please select the product category that your work best suits (Home & Living / Fashion & Accessories / Kids & Baby). Depending on your eligibility, you will automatically be entered for the other award categories including New Etsy Talent, Retail Star and the 5 regional awards.

Q: What happens if all of my items sell during the Etsy Awards and my shop is empty?
A: If all of your items sell during the Awards period, congratulations! Your submission will still be valid. We do need to see live listings in your shop in order to process your application so please restock your shop as swiftly as possible. If you have multiple quantities of the item, we suggest that you continue to replenish any sold listings submitted until the winners are announced.

Q: What if I miss the deadline for submissions?
A: To be fair to all applicants, we cannot accept entries after the submission deadline of midnight on 28th April 2016. This is in compliance with the Terms and Conditions.
